One of those programs is Open Gate, an experimental/improvisational music series presented on the first Sunday of each month, curated by Alex Cline. Tickets are $10 ($5 for students, seniors and series artists), and show time is at 7:00. There are usually two acts, each performing one set. For email announcements, email the address linked above and ask to be added to the music announcement list. From the 2 freeway north, exit at Colorado Bl east. After Colorado is joined by Broadway from the left (northwest), go eight more blocks to Rockland Av. The Center is on the far left (northeast) corner. From the 134 freeway east, exit at Harvey Dr. Turn right (south) on Harvey, and go one block to E. Wilson Av. Turn left (east) on Wilson, which meets up with Broadway. Continue on Broadway, under the #2 freeway, and on to meet with Colorado Bl. Go eight more blocks on Colorado to Rockland Av (on the left). The Center is on the far left (northeast) corner. From the 134 freeway west, exit at Colorado/Figueroa to Colorado Bl west. Go west on Colorado for a little over a mile, there is a light at Eagle Rock Bl. The Center is on the next corner, on the near right (northeast). There is street parking in the area. On Sunday evenings when Open Gate is presented, or other times outside of banking business hours, you may also park in the Bank of America parking lot, one block west on the corner of El Rio Av.
