Fais Do Do is a cafe/nightclub with music most nights except Monday. There is a moderately large raised stage with a sizable sound system designed for presenting a wide variety of acts including "indie, hip-hop, blues, soul, jazz, world, alternative, funk, latin rock, salsa, and retro" (they were the former home of the Fat Tuesdays series of eclectic creative music). They have a bar and a kitchen with cajun cuisine (a menu is provided on the web site, dinner is served from 7-11pm).

Doors open at around 7pm for drinks, the kitchen opens around 8pm, and the first set begins around 8:30. Seating holds up to 45 or so, including several tables in an upstairs mezzanine, but it can be less when side booths are taken by parties that do not fill all the seats. There is also lots of standing room near the bar and elsewhere.

In the Mid City district just east of Culver City (and just south of the 10 freeway), Fais Do Do is at the corner of Cloverdale and West Adams, between Fairfax and La Brea. From the 10 freeway in either direction, exit south on La Brea. Go one block to Adams and turn right (west). Cloverdale is six blocks, and the club is on the near right (northeast) corner. There is a parking lot across the street (south side) for $3, plus additional street parking.
