General information: 323-857-6000 General information web page LACMA has two venues for music: * Bing Theater * Central Court Friday night jazz is outside in the Central Court, while other music concerts are inside in the Bing Theater. For Friday night jazz, aim to arrive 30-60 minutes before the 5:30pm start time if you want to get a seat, otherwise there is ample standing room on the plaza. These are free concerts. You can get take-out food from the two restaurants on the plaza: Pentimento (menu) and Plaza Cafe (menu). Bing Theater concerts begin at 8:00pm. Of special interest to new- music audiences are the long-standing Monday Evening Concerts focusing on "art music of this and the last century," and Ensemble Residency Concerts by California EAR Unit and Xtet.
